Aqre joins forces with Engineers Without Borders to promote circularity
Aqre Group has entered a collaboration with Engineers Without Borders (EWB) to help it become a circular economy leader in Madagascar and Africa. Working with EWB in finding ways to become a more environmentally friendly company brings them closer to that goal.
After analysing Aqre Group’s entire production process from the farmer to the client, EWB has begun implementing ways to make Aqre Group’s process more sustainable, safer and circular. The program focuses not only on reducing factory carbon footprints and emissions, but also pinpointing potential regional spin-off projects for the revalorization of waste streams and introduction of local raw materials. Tapping into EWB’s proven ability to promote, teach and implement sustainable technical solutions, Aqre Group aims to future-proof its operations in Madagascar for decades to come.
